We don’t deal in cheap knockoffs or wrecked machines, we only buy the best brands from the best people. When we do decide to acquire gym equipment, we bring it to our massive, state-of-the-art precision remanufacturing facility in Southern California. That’s where the fun starts.

Many of our first-time customers probably don’t know what we mean when we say that we “remanufacture” all of our gym equipment. There’s a good reason for that: We’re the only company in the world that has the capability to do what we do. Unlike refurbishing or servicing used gym equipment, our precision remanufacturing process is painstakingly thorough.

We literally strip everything off the machines and disassemble them entirely, so that they can be sandblasted and custom powder-coated with fresh, new paint. We don’t just touch up nicks and scratches, because that’s not what we mean by quality. We repaint everything, so that you get a fresh, glossy machine that looks as good as new. Once we’ve powder-coated the machines to perfection, we take great care to service and replace all the internal parts. We painstakingly disassemble motors, clean each and every component, repack new bearings to ensure a long running life — then carefully reassemble into perfect working condition.

We also have a dedicated upholstery department, where we custom reupholster every machine to the highest standards — and to your specifications and needs. Everything is hand-stitched by skilled professionals who believe in quality. We also replace treadmill decks and belts, properly clean and lubricate every part, and test all electronics. In fact, if a machine comes through our remanufacturing process, it gets inspected a full three times before it ever gets to you. We don’t let anything leave our remanufacturing facility until we’re certain it’s up to our rigorous standards. And that’s exactly what we mean by quality here at Used Gym Equipment.
